Biography
Colleen was born in Trinidad, West Indies where she lived with her grandparents. At age 12 she moved to Brooklyn, New York to live with her parents. She again moved to Connecticut, where she currently resides with her two boys.
Colleen is currently working on her next book "Don't You Wish Your Momma Could Cook Like Mine?" due out November, 2010.
Even though Colleen's books are non-fiction and actual stories of her boys' life experiences, she can get an idea while at the beauty salon, driving, having a conversation, watching television or listening to the radio.
